April's practice includes civil litigation in Oklahoma state and federal courts. She has extensive experience in all aspects of bankruptcy as well as legal research and writing. After law school, she worked as an assistant district attorney and then as a career law clerk for two federal judges. She has been in private practice since 2013. In law school, April was the recipient of the Hatton Sumners Scholarship at the Oklahoma City University School of Law where she graduated summa cum laude, participated on ABA Moot Court Team, received two CALI awards for the highest grade in her class, was named Outstanding Woman Graduate, was a member of Phi Delta Phi, and was part of the Order of the Barristers.
